Nougat Question
Now that the daring baker challenge is over for this month, I have a question. Have any of you made nougat? I tried this recipe from Emeril, and it didn't do so well. I know I made a mistake and added the butter way too early, but does it really call for 2 sticks of butter? I was able to pull it together after allowing it to refrigerate for a bit, but I drained quite a bit of butter off the candy before proceeding...
