Does anyone happen to know how to make the turkey legs you can purchase at Six Flags? Is it even turkey? haha

Thanks in advance!

Has anyone else heard that they are not turkey legs, but are actually emu legs?

I've heard that, too. From what I thought was a reliable source (a former restaurant manager from Disney), but now I'm not sure. :)

if that's the case, those are some short emu.

Agreed, there is more than a slight height difference between a turkey and an emu.

This is a popular urban legend, but no, not unless someone is breeding mini emus somewhere.

That would certainly not be cheaper. The legs would be much bigger and taste more like beef. Ostrich and emu aren't exactly birds; they are a different species called ratites. Their meat is much redder than poultry and the legs are much bigger than turkey legs.
