Simple Sausage & Sausage Rolls

Ever need sausage for a recipe and have only plain ground meat on hand?  Or want sausage without all the weird additives?

Simple Sausage

1lb ground meat-of-choice (I use $1/lb ground turkey)
1 t onion powder
1 t garlic powder
1 T italian seasoning

Mix well, the longer it rests the more the flavors will blend. :)
Of course, this basic recipe will want to be tweaked depending on the meat, but it's a good starting point! :)

Sausage & Cheese Balls

4-8  oz bulk sausage
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (6 ounces)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves, crushed
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley/1 T dry parsley
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup Bisquick® Gluten Free mix

Mix together all but the last two, mix with a fork, wooden spoon, or fingers, add the last two ingredients and mix well.
Drop by tablespoons onto a greased/sprayed cookie sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes at 350, til golden brown.
May serve with barbecue sauce or chili sauce for dipping, if desired.

They're originally an appetizer, I made them double-sized to eat as breakfast food.  Yum!
