So, my dad bought me a frozen goose with the instructions, "Make it taste good for your mom." I have cooked goose twice before so apparently, to him, it makes me a goose guru. This could not be further from the truth. I made it once and it was delicious, the second time it was too greasy and had little to no flavor. I'm doing a Chinese glutinous rice stuffing but it could be cooked inside the goose or out so please hit me with some tried and true recipes/successes you've had with this type of bird! Spices are plenty in my cupboard and I have plenty of pantry things as well. Going grocery shopping is also possible so sky's the limit. My mom is extremely picky, not over types of foods but flavor and I'd like to get praise from her this year. I'll be cooking it for dinner tomorrow.
Thank you in advance for any help you lovely peole can provide!
