Black beans. Soak beans overnight. Saute bacon (if you can afford it), onions, a pepper, bunch of garlic and rinsed beans. Add spices, worchester sauce, white wine or broth and cook until beans are tender. Add cilantro at end. Goes with much, and is pretty cheap.

Scroll back to Monday where I posted my cilantro pesto recipe. Serve that as a garnish for your steaks and/or an addition to the pasta salad and/or the grilled veggies.

hmmm...quesadillas as appetizers? tortillas are hella cheap, so is cheese, figure you can use some of the bell peppers and green onion to make for some cheesy yummyness along with the cilantro.

I like to marinade my beef in lime juice, cilantro, some garlic, and jalapeno. Yum yum yum

put it in marinade for the veggies or beef. Chop it roughly and toss in the pasta salad.

Chop and mix with 2 green onions, salt, pepper, 1 clove of garlic. pound lightly in mortar and pestle. add juice of one lemon and a few tablespoons of olive oil until it makes a loose sauce. Use as a topping for steaks.
