This is what I have done so farrrrrrrr:
I did Lich King's Hands and forearms, and I finally finished King. He just needs his accessories.
On the Lich King's hands, They are supposed to look like bones leading to claws above his fingers, and then a little design around his fore arms and tons of spikes. They pinch, too, sharply! I shaved off some skulls from his forearms but kept two since in one of my reference pics he has a skull on his elbow and one on his forearm. and again one more on his hands. All the work I sculpted is in white cause i used white apoxie. Im trying to do all my sculpting work before i ever paint anything because I want a "before, during and after" pic series sort of thing. I am using two different reference pics, one from the in-game loading screen of him sitting on the ice throne with his helmet off, and the in-game model (ok three different angles of the same model). They both have their differences, but I try to meld them together as best I can for example: The forearms in the sitting pic were bare except for teh skull and the white lines, but the in-game model has spikes in the empty space, so I merged them. Also, the in-game model did not have a skull on the hands, but rather two spikes. So I just added the spikes to the skull. Easy peasy!
Side note, I love D.C figures. The poppable heads, simple-looking, just great. Sure Mervel legends have double joints, but thats more articulation than a figure ever needs, where they don't need it. Also, they end up skinnier and more bendy. D.c. figures are solid.Mostly it's the poppable heads that gets me.
