PERSONALITY & HOUSE REQUESTS:
Usagi, at first, is the unassuming crybaby in her series. She's terrible at school, clumsy and honestly always late. However, upon meeting Luna, a talking cat who causes Usagi to realize her potential as a Sailor Scout, there are some very subtle things in Usagi's personality that start to really shine the more powerful and mature she becomes. Once she was a clumsy crybaby who would run away from a fight becomes a beautiful, ladylike princess who will do anything for the planet and ones she loves. Primarily, the parts of her personality that are really prominent are suited for both Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, depending on what you think is more suited for her.
The biggest part of her personality that needs to be touched on is Usagi's kindness. Out of all the scouts, Usagi is always the one looking out for her enemies as well as her friends. While her fellow scouts often think that it's better if they just eliminate the enemy, Usagi is always there to say that there has to be a different way. This really shines the most in Hufflepuff, who are noted for their kindness. Usagi is willing to do anything for anyone, even sacrifice herself, or someone who she barely knows.
However, out of her kindness comes bravery. Usagi starts out as a scaredy-cat cry baby, but when she really starts to fulfill her role as Sailor Moon, it's evident how brave she is. She doesn't think about things, when she stands up for people, she just does it because she knows what's right and what should be done. This is most evident in the first arc of the series. The Silver Millenium Crystal doesn't work unless Usagi's heart is sure and her emotions are clear. Throughout that arc, she is learning of not only her role as Sailor Moon, but her role as the Moon Princess, Serenity. She's constantly conflicted, as any teen would be in her position, but she eventually figures out what she needs to do and bravely stands up to her enemy to revive her love, Mamoru and her friends.
This bravery, like most, tends to be reckless and Usagi sacrifices her life a few times in the following arcs, which is against the wishes of the people who are constantly trying to protect her. This is part of her chivalry though, Usagi sacrifices for the greater good. She has a lot of nerve and she's stubborn, which she isn't afraid to admit. Usagi will do whatever it takes to win the battle, even if it means giving up her own life to do so.
Usagi may not be the hardest working individual when it comes to school, but when it comes to her scout work, she's always there to work out what they need to do. She's not the smartest in coming up with plans, but she is very diligent when things need to be done. She wasn't always that way, however, because most of the time she wanted to avoid it. She craves for peace, but realizes towards the end ot he series that it has to be worked for to really mean something and continue.
Generally though, even though Usagi does so many wonderful things, she is very unassuming. Usagi never brags about her abilities or successes, and she has never thrown her power in the face of her friends. In almost every battle, she always thanks her friends for the fact that she won. She doesn't believe in bragging or trying to overstep her friends, even though she can have selfish moments, they are small compared to the moments when she's given. A moment that is the best example is when Usagi is fighting with Chaos and Cordon at the end of the series. She always says that it's the power of her friends that got her this far, and that is the reason why she is so powerful.
Essentially, while Usagi is unassuming and can be a crybaby, she knows when to put such things aside and truly be the leader and princess she was meant to be, even if sometimes she's uncertain.

Usagi's abilities primarily rely on her emotions, because the crystal that is the primary source of her power relies on the strenght of her heart. That being said, Usagi's powers can bring about desruction if used incorrectly, but she always uses them to bring back life. Because of this, it's likely she would do well at Charms and Transfiguration. While the latter would be trickier for her, she would excel when she really worked at it. Additionally, she would do well at Defense Against the Dark Arts solely based on her determination to help others and know that those spells could save her and her friends. Potions and other classes may be a little bit harder for Usagi, thanks to her clumsiness.
WAND: The Wood of Usagi's wand will be Cypress, a wood that is known for people who are brave and self-sacrificing. It also was given to those of nobility, which Usagi is being the Moon Princess and all. This wood is perfect for Usagi primarily because of her bravery and giving nature.
The wand core, however, is something from her own world. The core is the jewel from the ring that Mamoru gave her before he went to Harvard in America. This jewel symbolizes their love and the intent to get married, but it also symbolizes the love she feels for everyone in her life.
