Requisite Christmas Bitching

Every year since I was 15 or so, it has taken an extra 12 to 24 hours for me to get excited about the holidays. It's thirteen days before Christmas and I'm still waiting to be really amped for it. Right now the house is about 1/4 cleaned and 1/2 decorated. 99% of the gift shopping is done, 0% of the grocery shopping is done. Nothing is wrapped

can't anyone tell me what christmas is all about?

i thnk a lot of people are not fully in the christmas spirit just yet, even the people out buying gifts don't see realy excited about the whole prospect

but remember what hte wise linus said "i can tell you what christmas is all about charlie brown. lights please. "And there were in the same country shepherds, abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. and if that doesn't work for you you can always go buy a tiny tree that is all but dead and it will be the best christmas tree ever, that seemd to put charlie brown int he christmas spirit

and see, that is the problem. i don't cotten to all that jebus stuff and we already have a little tree wrapped around the bottom with a pale blue linus colored flannel.

and i'm still not feeling it
