I knew that I had a conference call today with a client (HQ'd in NY) today at 3pm CDT. I thought I was prepared and had all the paperwork on the candidates and really felt set. The client called right at 3pm and was ready to go through resumes for one of the three positions. After the first three presentations, I started stumbling and getting tongue tied. I looked around and office and realized it was just me and a co-worker. As I had the client (2ppl) throwing out questions left and right, me "winging" it and thankfully my associate helped me out. I finally just put the client on speaker phone and basically ran around the office locating paperwork, resumes, salary history etc....45mins later it is all done! Now I'm in the process of just scheduling, thank goodness! Phew!
