First of all, I've heard you do other podfics before by other authors, and always liked it.

Yesterday in my 2 hour drive from Flagstaff to Phoenix to catch my flight home (I'm a consultant, live in Oregon and work in Flagstaff, but fly out of Phoenix so I have a LONG commute - thus the need for podfic! ::grin::), I finally heard this story. And can I just say it blew me away?

I normally read stories before I listen to the podfic, but in a way, I'm really glad I didn't listen to the story first, because you were ever-so-slightly different in this one. I think it's because it was your own story. I can't describe it - though if I had to, I'd call it "pride in ownership". The story was incredible, and your telling of it was just superbly remarkable. It's one of my favorites now!
