waywardmixes round 30, 'Magic'. Full-size art, summary, lyrics and listen-online links under the cut.
The Fae are a race of supernatural beings. At first glance, Trick is simply a barkeeper and knowledgeable Fae elder. However, Trick is hiding his true identity as the famous Blood King. As a blood sage, Trick can manipulate reality and change destiny with his blood. Whatever he writes in his blood comes to pass - but this comes with consequences, often terrible ones.
His words in his blood brought an end to the war between the Dark and Light Fae, and established a new era of peace, but at great cost. Many years later, he still carries the burden of the consequences of his blood writings.
This fanmix focuses on Trick’s power to change fate, and his inner dilemmas about when and how to use this power. The temptation to use it to help his friends in strong, but is saving the lives of the ones he loves now worth the potential fallout for his entire race?
