Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! Hope 2012 is a good year for everyone (even you Mayans out there, if any).
What to say about 2011? It was a very challenging year and it's been infinitely rewarding to have people in my life to help carry me through the tough times. Many thanks are owed to certain friends here on LJ and to others in my life. It was also a fabulous year filled with many amazing things, including making new friends and growing closer to others, a lot of very fun and memorable experiences, and, of course, the trips that I took: Boston for my son's graduation, Germany for the experience of a lifetime (waves to catw), and London for amazing theatre, Sherlock stuff, and other fun (waves to ghislainem70).
I woke up this morning to an impossibly blue, cloudless sky. Temps in the low 80s today and this morning there was a mild, cool breeze that definitely felt like an ocean breeze, wonderful. I am hoping it heralds a rewarding 2012. Will usher in the new year today at a party, where I plan to do naught but enjoy myself.
