I just figured out that in the past 85 hours, I have gotten 8 hours of sleep. That'll definitely be changing tonight. My notes start looking pretty funny the more tired I get. I start writing songs. Sometimes lyrics, and sometimes musical notes. But mostly my notebook just looks like scribbles. And I leave out words. And I start seeing things out of the corners of my eyes. And seeing double. And then my closet starts talking to me. That was weird.
In other news, my refrigerator makes lots of noise. And our room is really messy. This happens every week. But it gives us something to do on a Friday afternoon.
The weather has been absolutely gorgeous lately. Some people think it is too cold. I think it is just right. Your brain is too cold.
My fingers look really old and frail when they're cold. Which they often are. I got a splinter the other day. Not fun. Also when I'm tired my writing style becomes more and more childish. Short. Incomplete. Sentences. With little grammar. Or structure. Or flow.
I went to two education seminars this week, and got lots and lots of materials and resources and all sorts of free goodies. Including a poster called "Moo to You" (explaining how milk gets from the cow to your glass). Also, I made a dirt baby. His hair hasn't started growing yet though. Should be interesting when it finally does.
This week was a blur. Tuesday night never happened, so it seems like Tuesday never ended. Yet people tell me it is Thursday. I am confused. Not only is sleep a biological necessity, but it is closure. I think sleep marks the difference from one day to the next almost more so than the sun and moon.
Wow. Twist ties are fun. I'm playing with a red twist tie that somehow has three ends. And it's all fun and swiggly.
I'm really in the mood for a movie this weekend. Or s'mores. Or both.
Because it'sssssssssssssssssssssss chapstick. And chapped lips. And things like chemistry.
On that note...time to write that paper.
