~ CONTENT!
Happy Easter everyone!
I'm so glad that Easter and Anzac Day's somehow manage to combine into a 5 day weekend! XD Finally, I get a break from waking up at 6am every morning and it's absolutely heavenly! These little things seriously make me really REALLY happy, I did pretty much nothing yesterday - going about at my leisurely pace all day, a little bit of cleaning, lounging around... it's probably even better than if I went out and shopped all day.
But ~
I did shop online, after all that thinking - I ended up buying SHN5012LP! :D
Seriously, I went on a bit of a guilt trip afterwards... tried to justify my purchase and thought up all these reasons. The best one? Well, it's been pretty hectic at work and I've been staying back ~ in the coming months I'll probably be staying back a lot more so my new watch is going to keep me happy. Lol, people would probably laugh but I really do find that familiar weight on my wrist reassuring >.<" The pretty crystals and shiny face does it for me! Yes, I'm someone who would seriously panic without her watch even when there's a phone within hand's reach. It's a habit that won't die anytime soon - I still can't stand wearing a necklace or a bracelet, earrings - well, let's just say that I'm still too wimpy to go get my ears pierced. So it's watch or ring.
What surprises me a little is how well I'm taking it all - staying back isn't bad at all! My Team Leader's really nice and an awesomely patient teacher, everyone around the office is friendly so the only annoying thing that comes to mind is having to chase up remittances and deal with the odd angry call. I remember when I used to work at Big W... man, staying back was H.E.L.L ~ even when I got paid for it! Dealing with those difficult customers was a nightmare, I'm sure that in my mind, that would always be the worst job of this lifetime!
That reminds me, Thursday was Mufti at work and I probably would've overdosed on chocolate if I didn't control myself. Mini-muffins, cookies, hot cross buns... XD Brought home a whole jar filled with chocolates... my stash of candy just got bigger AGAIN, the problem is that I won't eat any of the really pretty things. My Doraemon lollipop is still sitting in the fridge completely untouched...
