A website, said to be the fastest growing content network in the nation, is looking for food writers for their online presence. It would be a contract, part-time, work-at-home job based out of Durham. The site averages 20 million unique visitors per month, so lots of exposure. I won't bore you with the details, but in addition to giving full creative freedom, writers retain rights to all content. They are looking for close to a dozen different focuses--everything from vegetarian cooking to budget eats and more. And, yep, I'm deer in the headlights pretty much. Part of me thinks is sure I'm no better than a one-hit wonder (see crash and burn, next link). It's one thing to do the occasional
restaurant review for local f-listers. It's another thing entirely to be able to churn out content on a weekly basis.
