From ayoub and ellierachael, who is having her own frenzySparked by a recent spate of friends leaving LJ, I decided to have a go at my own friending frenzy. The idea of a friending frenzy is to find new LJ friends that you may or may not have have had the good fortune to meet otherwise

Hi there.

The name is Frank, aka Grayhawk.

40 year old happily married father of 2.

Can be aptly described as a "Renaissance Geek", as my geekdom runs from sports to gaming (online, video, tabletop, RPG, card, etc) to Conventions to sci fi to comics to computers...you get the idea. I occasionally rant, and get really creative in my use of invective and profanity at those times. I try to warn about those moments. I am also a talented amateur cook, and post the recipes and results of my (usually tasty) experiments.

I try to encourage everyone to remember that by virtue of the simple fact that you woke up today, it is automatically a good day. I also acknowledge that it is easier to remember this on some mornings than others. ;-)

Not much else to say. Not the most prolific poster, but feel free to check my profile and ask questions. Or just friend me. Or don't do any of that! Whatever strikes your fancy.

I used to say that I was a grad student in limbo as I am just waiting to finish my student teaching so I can finally graduate with a Masters in Education but I just found out I was pregnant so I am not sure how school is going to play into things now
