Baby Roo

I have never solicited before in my journal and probably never will again. This kitten's story just broke my heart. His foster Mom provides rescued and shelter cats a temporary home until they can be adopted and paired with a forever family. Kimberly does this at her own expense because she loves animals. One of her fosters is very sick. If I' ( Read more... )

Thanks so much for spreading the word ((hugs)) And yes - prayers and good thoughts are just as important as $$.

I haven't posted it yet, because I only talked to the vet tech, not the vet, but apparently the vet may think today's xrays are improved! I'll be going in shortly and will see myself.

Thanks for spreading the word!

I've been following Roo's story, and it's amazing what people can do for each other, and for critters. It's warm and fuzzy :-D

Definitely praying for the little guy :-)

If we didn't have cat allergies at my house that would keep me from the cash flow that it would take to FEED such a handsome fella, he'd be in the PNW, and I'd pay for the blessed flight!

However, we have cat allergies, but I may ask how much the girls might give of their xmas gifts to make sure this fella has a home! Heck, he looks a little more like a Piglet than a 'Roo, but darn! I'm tempted to throw all the allergy prone out of the house and bring him home!

Thank you so much. I wish it were that easy, though. He's got to get better first. I haven't read the most recent prognosis. Basically, his little lungs are very cloudy and he is having difficulty breathing. So much so that he is required to be in an oxygen tent. The vet team is treating him with other people medications until they can determine what is wrong with him. He's had a biopsy (simplykimberly can correct me if I'm wrong) and a complete battery of test but the malady seems to remain a mystery. He's very much a fighter, this lil' guy and so far the help, generosity, prayers and thoughts of fellow animal lovers have made that continue to be ppossible.
