Projekt Revolution

I went to Projekt Revolution and it was basically the best concert everrrr!
Will and I got there just before the first band started, but the first band we watched was Mindless Self Indulgence. Best band to see live! They made a fan out of me. Johnny Urine was hilarious! "The God's don't want fucking menthol!"
It started to rain and we took shelter in a bar. While I was on the phone with my aunt, some hot chick comes over and gives me a key that was painted red and blue. She told me to go to a certain booth and I'd get a gift if turned it in. Turns out this was a "HIM key" and I won a peice of the wall that's in their "Killing Loneliness" video. Sa-weet.
Will and I signed up for everything at the booths that we could, one of them being a chance to meet Linkin Park. We sat to watch Placebo and Will got a message on his phone. He freaked out and goes, "Oh my God, I won the meet and greet with Linkin Park!" and he ran off. I swore he was joking, but he definitely wasn't. We waited by the front gates for them to take us back stage, while the 103.1 booth was doing interviews for their station. All of a sudden they tell us to step back and they brought Ray Toro over! I flipped out! Ray Fucking Toro! :-)
Finally they brought us behind stage. We ended up missing HIM and Taking Back Sunday, which sucked, but I think meeting Linkin Park was better. It all happened so fast, I feel like I didn't do enough while I was there. We were allowed to take pictures of the band, but not with them. And we could only get one thing signed. It was a little awkward. They just talked to each other and, I swear, never even looked at us. I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do. I asked Chester if I could shake his hand. It was all I could think of, but at least then he looked at me. And *sigh* I touched him. LoL. Phoenix was the only one who talked to us. He said hi and asked us how we were. ...It was over before I knew it.
We went back to our seats and waited for My Chemical Romance. ...So, I love them, not much more I can say. Gerard Way is awesome! I wish I had a better camera to take better pictures, but I'll never forget it anyway. That was my 2nd time seeing them live and it won't be my last.
Linkin Park came on and everyone was standing. They put on theee best show I've ever seen! Yes, even better than MCR. The crowd was so into it and everyone was screaming and singing, jumping and throwing up the rock and roll fingers. It was just the best concert! I was sweating more than I care to say and so damn thirsty, but I jumped around the whole time. There was some hot guy in front of me that kept on turning around and singing with me. It was weird, but we were both so into it that it wasn't...
Yeah, if you have a chance to go to Projekt Revolution this year, GO!
