Philly as a zone
So the city is doing a fun summer thing where 37 restaurant have fun happy hours on Wednesday nights. There are great drink specials and free food and live music. I do love the city, and I'll miss it when I stop commuting in with J everyday. Anyway, I'm such a nerd that I started doing research on the website, comparing drink specials and proximity and everything. I went to tell some work friends to see if they wanted to go sometime, and one of them pulled out a map. They actually made a map! It has all of the locations marked, and then each area of the city is labeled as a zone, and each zone is planned for a certain date. It's cross referenced and color coded and there are foot notes about possible options and changes that would be advantageous under certain circumstances. I just love my work friends, and I love that I thought I was being too nerdy, but then they totally out-nerded and out-planned me. Anyway, tonight is zone two. I can't wait until 5.
