happy (belated) mucc day !!
they have a new web layout for their official homepage...
&

happy world cup opening day!!

i stayed up and watched the opening match between germany and costa rica this morning.... and i also went out with 38 til early (3.30am) the morning before... so i'm quite tired... but i'm also pretty happy cos mom & dad went to china with my aunts this morning (they didn't go on the public holiday on the week before)... so i'm going to have a nice weekend with the tv and the dvd player all for myself... YAY x__X

the bummer is we don't have cable tv, so i cant watch the world cup at home... we couldn't get it even if we wanted, cos our flat is too old and cable tv didn't install anything for these old flats in wanchai (inner city) *sigh*... and i don't feel like going to any of those large malls (none of them is close by my home) with large tv that shows the matches so late at night... i'll see whether 38 feels like watching it (i doubt it though, she's not a sports fan),  maybe i could ask her to go  to one of the bars/cafes with me...

about the opening match last nite... i was a bit surprised by the score line (i guess most ppl were), but i'm sure that i'm not the only one that is glad there were so many goals ^^... i'm not a fan of either team, but somehow i was rooting for costa rica a tiny bit, especially in the first half LOL, since they are clearly the underdogs... there were a couple of questionable calls regarding offsides but since i'm not a fan for either team, it made the game more 'interesting'...  i'm happy that germany won in the end, it's their world cup opening match afterall, i'm sure this win would help to lift the spirit even more for them... but i definitely think their defense needs to improve, if they wish to go anywhere further than the round of 16...

group matches that i want to see (but probably can't T__T)...
A: germany v poland (15/6)
B: sweden v england (21/6)
