update!!
first up, girls night!! so how is tuesday the 15th for everyone? good bad? yes? no? maybe? i'm going to try to call everyone before friday because i'm going out of town friday night on a church retreat, but i should still have my phone so if u need me just gimme a ring.
secondly, it's time for...
another episode of "a day in the life of the hickman family." the scene, a bright sunday afternoon with the final meeting of parents and offspring. our young hero is prepared to once again refuse what is offered to him when all of a sudden! dun dun dun! a legal technically that could costs thousands is thrust in his way! (namely an insurance policy that was signed in october of last year stating that a certain individual would be a full time student for at least five months in the year of 2006 which of course had not happened yet). it seems as those his dreams were falling apart, but are they? enter the sister, tired of feeling like a cinderella with 3 unruly children (whom she of course loves dearly) and greatly disappointed at the prospect of facing her current living arrangements for much longer, she expresses her distress. her loving parents don't like to see their child unhappy and decide...
TJ WILL MOVE OUT AND I CAN GET ROOMATES!!!
not only that, they are making financial incentives so that Tj might even graduate in the fall instead of spring and then he'll have his degree (yay!), he'll get a free car (yay!), he'll already be moved out (yay!), and he'll have all his graduation money to get his life started (yay!). who knew that could be wrapped up so nicely? now all i have to do is rearrange everything so that the house is ready to receive 2 new occupants who will take over Tj's room and just so everything is all set and organized for when they get here. wee hoo! so monday my parents and melanie and abby and i will all meet to discuss the final details and figure out when they are going to move in! crazy!
i have to admit, i'll miss my Tj. i really do love that stinker and we do tend to have a good time together sometimes. and the puppies will miss him. it really is too bad that he's so full of mud. but i've known abby since seventh grade and melanie's known abby since 8th or 9th grade and i've known melanie since 11th grade. and we all sing loud, run into walls, laugh a lot, and love god a whole bunch. so i think we are going to have a blast together. and whatever bumps we run into, we've got a nice strong friendship and church behind us. it's kinda scary cuz i've really spent more time with boys than i have girls. the idea of having two other females around (even though i love them) is frightening. but it's also exciting! well i've got 5 and half million things to do so i'm out!
