kawabunga dude!
soo today i went surfing or tried to anyhow. i'm sore and dirty and tired- but that was freakin amazing. i feel soooooooo good. i only wish i could go surfing when i get to puerto rico but i'd be sooo afraid of losing my board on the plane or something. if i could i'd go again tomorrow. when i was finally getting better at catching reasonable waves (the surf wasn't great), i was too tired to get myself up. i got up once and would've killed kailey if i hadn't yelled at her to move. i have my dad's old board and it's REALLY short (a few inches taller than me! let's just say it fits in my car with the top up- yea) and only has one fin (so much for stability!) so it's like for people who actually know what they're doing. i can't drive that thing yet and it goes freakin fast! oh well. i needed that day of physical activity after yesterday's all day essay writing. i feel accomplished. later i dropped by chris hall's show and i have to say he gets better and better. i love that guy! he gives me more hugs than a toddler gives a teddy bear and they're good long strong hugs. yay for huggles and snuggles! he's the best! so now i guess, i'll shower. and hit the hay so i can take my exam (which i put off til tomorrow- er- today) and then go on a cleaning and packing rampage (and hopefully finish my dress)!
