Impedimenta to slow it down, Petrificus Totalus to stun it completely, and a very strong Lumos spell for the allergy to light it has. Continue with the Lumos spell for as long as it take to kill the creature.

Hmmm...maybe I shouldn't use the initial Lumos...

WHY didn't you say that before? *ponders* Hmm, I'm going to need maybe something to throw at it, like a blade. The initials spells, and...hmmm...I think I have it, but I'd need to find a localizing spell to help me see Shrieker without using light...or invent one myself.
