The grocery store across the street from my house has an employee that is a very faithful catholic.  She sets up a little shrine  at her register every time she works. It's complete with little saint medals, pictures and little handwritten bible verses. I would like to complain about this. I know that if I make a frontal assault of "Get that ( Read more... )

Wow, just let it slide and don't be a douche about it. It's not cool to be a dick to someone in her workplace, especially if you aren't actually offended, which you are not. You just want to stir up drama. Grow up.

All the Catholics in the neighborhood go to the Hispanic grocery store down the block. I hate not being able to read the labels, so I don't shop there. They also put the Catholic icon candles in a display right by the door. A catholic register shrine there would not bother me, as they have lots of related goods in the store.
The store I deal with has a lot of white trash customers that are either protestant or non-christian. Tthey do not sell religious items at all, unless you count the cheap ass incense.

I suspect they will regretfully point out she has a constitutionally protected right to have a religious display at her work station.

Frankly, I think you're in the wrong on this one from start to finish.
