Hi, everybody....
My whole life, religion has been something I've been unsure about. Both my parents were Catholic, but my brother and I were never baptized. We never went to church- not even on Easter or Christmas. My friends and I used to joke that I could be any religion I wanted, but basically, that's true. I used to tell them I had no religon, and for a long time, I didn't really want one.
But at this stage in my life, I'm looking for something to believe in. I've gone through a lot of stuff in my 16-year life, and I've lost a lot of hope. My dad died when I was 11, and I've prayed for him before, but I don't know to whom I was praying.
Basically, right now I believe only that everyone should be kind to one another, and I completely hate war.
I'm pro- choice, and I support gay marriage (though I'm not gay).
I don't exactly believe in a god at this point, but that can easily change.
Recently, I've been looking into Buddhism. I'm not completely sure why, but it seems to appeal to me for some reason.
Honestly, I'm just a poor, confused soul looking for something to believe in to get me out of the depression I've seemingly fallen into.
Convert me, please. :D
