Time for one of those declarative lj posts.
Here is the story with "Team Liza"
The last week and a half have been horrible for me. I tend to simply not have strong feelings of anger or pain or betrayal, even when they are warranted...thus I did not know how to deal with them when they happened to me. My friends recognized how awful I was feeling and decided to do something to cheer me up.
Yes it may have been childish and petty and hurtful to some people, but I appreciate it more than I can ever possibly say.
The reason we have friends is so that they can pull us up when we are down, and I am lucky enough to have friends who are amazing at doing just that. So I thank them.
For those of you who feel that "Team Liza" isn't right.
1) It's not for you to judge, unless you are one specific person...if you are...judge away
2) If you were low wouldn't you want your friends to do something to make you feel loved and appreciated?
Loving someone means doing something for them that is not always popular. "Team Liza" was a way to show me that although there are people that don't love me, there are also those that do.
I love them more than I can possibly say for the way they supported me.
So gossip away, ignore them, ignore me, talk about my situation with your friends because in the end...I know that I have friends who care about me enough to subject themselves to all of YOUR uninformed, ignorant, and petty gossip.
Ciao
