[For once, Yuuka does sound genuinely confused. She's honestly perplexed by these tax forms, and wishes to know about them.]

What...are these papers for? I keep hearing about taxes...but...is it really this complicated ( Read more... )

They seem mostly meaningless. All information we can provide on the form is information the town already has.

Oh, I can only guess. In the world this world is based on, they are used to decide how much of your money you need to pay to the government. In other words, it's a way to control the population.

For this place? I could imagine many interesting possibilities.

Well...I realize the government does require a tax...however...what is the need of so much paperwork?

It seems as if it is written to be a part of some sort of mind control...or quite possibly a spell...with the way it's so unintelligibly written.

To check if the amount paid is suitable. It has to do with the people trying to apply justice to taxes.

Or it may simply be a setup for a pretty awful joke on the part of the town.
