[Guess who took a trip to the library out of curiosity and learned a few things about the political process?]
Well, it seems on an impulse I have joined the running for your Town Leader.
At first, I joined the running because it looked like a simple little human game...and I thought it would be fun.
But now, after doing a bit of research, I find myself taking this a bit seriously.
So, I come to you today to ask you to support my Sunflower party. I do wish to leave this place as much as the rest of you, even if I don't act like it at times.
So, who would you like leading you? The weakness of a human, or the Strongest Youkai in Gensokyo?
I have already regained only a fraction of my power, and am already a formidable opponent. As a candidate who has lived for over four thousand years, I believe I have the wisdom to properly lead us to victory against our captors. I am the only one who has it in her to do whatever it takes, even if it is less than desirable...yet I have the mental stability to not lose myself once I am forced to do such things.
Think about it, Mayfield. Think about that Christmas Event, where we saw ourselves ten years in the future. Do you want this to come to pass? Do you want to be stuck in such a place for the next decade? A decade may not mean much to me, but it does to you, the poor victims of a mysterious power's antics.
I ask of you, remember these words when you place your vote. Remember to consider...should I vote for someone who may balk at the horrible, messy task of doing whatever it takes? Someone who may fear pain? Someone inexperienced in life and battle? Someone so young?
Or, should I vote for the strongest?
