We got the kingdom, we got the key

Yesterday was one of those 'on top of the world' days.
I didn't go to work and instead spent the day getting my life in order.
I admitted to myself to that there is no way I can finish SCJD before I leave and I might just as well stop spending my last days here stressing over it and enjoy the time that I have. Oh the liberation of giving up!
I got my bills and investments, whatever is left of them, in order. I have a financial advisor now. Man, just typing those two words makes me feel 10 years older!
And I got a haircut. I figured since my financial future is in the strong and capable hands of a man in a nice suite I can splurge and get my hair done in a real salon where you drink wine while a catty 'oh da'lin' let me tell you' gay hairdresser massages your head and talks smack about his colleges. He told me that my hair could be on Pantene commercial. I must've been taking better care of it because last time I had 'wine and head massage' salon experience the stylist asked me if I've ever heard of a conditioner.
So now my hair is significantly shorter but it looks awesome!
Talked to B.& K. and we decided to go have dinner.
Afterwards, after driving around for a while and realizing that there is nothing to do in this city after 10 pm that doesn't involve drinking, we went to Amy's, got ice cream and set on Lamar bridge chatting while B. was projecting his 'I'm the pimp daddy with my biatches on my lap' image to midnight joggers. I know they all wanted to be him!
Two different people told me yesterday that they thought that I was younger than I am. I should wear short skirt with boots more often.
Tonight is Peter Murphy. I'm very much looking forward to that. His last show was amazing! But with Jim Rose Circus ? What a strange choice of opening act!
2 more days until I'm moving out. 16 more days of work.
