The enigma beckons
This darkness that allures
A step of faith, control relinquished
I bought a ticket to give in to the arcane
The storm raids
This light that fades
A wrong move made, threshold breached
I bask in this calignosity to perverse my soul
Pupils dilate savaging a lost glimmer
This frantic search, futility nothing more
The ray of hope which never came
I uttered a prayer in His name
Limbs scramble clinging what never existed
This yearn for rescue, wearied longing nothing more
The forbidden passion that never fulfilled
I swore a curse it could not be real
Somewhere in the forgotten depths
Do you sense my plight
Do you hear my cry
Do you value my existence
If I so choose to
Can I loosen your grip
Can you give me up
Can you let me fall
Mine and mine alone this descent
Desire for company altruism wanes
Solitude in itself is bliss
On my own to face this eternal kiss
Deeper and deeper where I plunge
Further from me truth lies
Truth in itself is overrated
On my own craving to be liberated obliterated
