New challenge.
Whilst roaming the Information Superhighway this afternoon, I made a quick pitstop at The Weird Fortune Cookie Collection. So this week's assignment is to choose a fortune (virtual or actual) and incorporate the message word for word in your fic, or actually fulfill the fortune. For example, my fortune is;
You long to see the great pyramids in Egypt.
Therefore, I will either
A) write a story in which Batman takes Robin to Egypt for a romantic getaway, only to be foiled by the Joker's plans of a nefarious threesome near King Tut's tomb
or
B) write a story in which Robin says, "Don't lie to me anymore, Bruce. I know you long to see the great pyramids in Egypt!"
How you choose to interpret the fortune's tone is completely up to you. You can even play the "...in bed!" game! You have one hour, so take your time. Just remember that rest is a good thing, but boredom is its brother! Please also include the fortune's text, so we can all share in the enlightenment.
