“If you tell anyone,” Orlando said casually to Dom. “I’ll kill you.”
“Tell anyone what?” Elijah was just now making his way over to the table from the catering line. In the fourteen steps from the line to where Orlando and Dom were, he’d eaten half an apple. Juice was running down his chin, and Orlando sort of wanted to lick it off.
“Nothing, mate, really. Just a thing.” Orlando cast a quick glance back over to Dom, who was grinning like an idiot.
“Nothing,” Elijah drawled out, raising his eyebrows. “Just a thing? Makes a lot of fucking sense. Anyway, party at mine tonight.” And he walked away, with Orlando’s eyes on his Hobbity arse until he was out of view.
“Keep it up, Orli, and I won’t have to tell a soul.”
