Shine -- Orlando Bloom/Josh Hartnett, PG-13

I don't have the faintest idea where this came from, all I know is that this story pretty much wrote itself. Oh, how I like it when the characters do all the work for me.

Gah. Not going to fall for Josh. No. Not me. Not going to happen. Nope.

Mwahaha! That's what I told myself, too. Right. And now I'm working on an Orlando/Josh/Ewan story. But yeah, apart from that, I really am fine.

You know, this fluttering half-sick feeling you get when a line gets you.

Oh yes. I know the feeling. And I love it when stories manage to make me feel that way. It's the good ones that can pull that off, so... Thank you.

Loved the slight predator/prey undertones you created with "soon" and "not yet"; with the prey not being weak and frail.

I don't like submissive!weak!Orli, so of course I had to make him take revenge. Weak!Orli pisses me off. This Orli is strong, but in a way, he also isn't. Am I making sense here? Not sure.

Distinctively leading to the plot. Was that a Pearl Harbour reference? The shivering linen?

It was, yes. Not that I've seen PH, there's only so much patritism I can take. I only know that short little scene because it also features in the Faith Hill video for There You'll Be. You know, when I saw the vid for the first time, I remember thinking wow when I saw Josh, although I had no idea who he was.

Finished, yet? You are a tease, you know that?

I guess I know what you want to say. Same here. Can't put that in coherent words, though. Gah. I'm so utterly wordy today.

*falls over*

*eek* Nieces made me see it. Wanted to peel my brains out with a spoon after five minutes. *eek*

Josh was the only one worth mentioning. Even Kate Beckinsale, who I liked in another film of her's, was gruesome. And Ben Affleck. *gags*

Horror show that was. But that shivering linen scene was lovely. *nods*

I can only imagine. My friends went to see it, and, you know, there was a reason why I didn't go with them. Actually, I find myself cringing at many of the typical Hollywood films lately. There have been a few good German movies recently, in my opinion. And I really do like French movies.

I actually wasn't sure whether or not to watch BHD, I was afraid it would be one hell of a patritism show. I was positively surprised.

Well, as I said, I've only seen it in Faith Hill's video, but... yes. Much with the yes and the yummy and the Josh. And you say he wasn't all that horrible in PH? I'm somewhat reassured now. And also, the more I find out about him, the more I start to fall in love with him.

Eek!
