I have very little doubt who will win tomorrow morning. I've been invited to Leichhardt to watch the big game. i want to wear a french flag. Leichhardt, i should say, is known as Piccola Italia... so my wearing the french tricolore might start something that i don't want to finish... but it would be fun !
It would be safer, however, to go somewhere a little more français... but, i know if i were a batting man, i'd be laying heavly on France. they're playing exceptionally well, you know... but with this game, it's not just how good you can play, but your skill at taking on opportunities as they present themselves.
it's funny, though, looking at the polls. In England, 58% think that Italy will win, while in Italy, 86% believe they will win. honestly, that's a little bit ott. 65% of Germans think that France will win, while a 56% majority of Spaniards are backing Italy. in frances early rival Koria, the votes are even split with 50/50 france/italy. The French, being who they are, are quietly confident of success (68% for France/32% italy).
Today, i'm going with some friends (not the prospective man) to yum cha. it should be really good. i love yum cha.. i've decided i want to try everything on the menu. as i spent no money last night, i'm feeling quite wealthy. this feeling, though, won't last.. but, it is nice while it does !
