I've decided as a general rule i will have to go out dancing every weekend.
Saturday night, we saw 20 centimètres, and it was one of the funniest movies i've seen in a long time. The general plot is about a pre-op transsexual, who is saving up to lose "20 centimetres". on top of this, she is narcoleptic, and falls asleep in the most rediculous places. When she sleeps, she dreams, and her dreams are akin to bollywood spectaculars. it was such a great film.
After said film, we went to the Shift. The original plan was to go to the convicts strip show, but we saw a picture of the rugby team, and thought maybe not... apparently it was just a really bad photo, because reports we received later told of a very steamy show. meh. I think we had a better time, anyway. We stayed on the dancefloor, from maybe 23h00 until 04h00. It was at this stage that Al got hungry and wanted to go. I wanted to stay, it was great. It’s such a feeling, dancing infront of a room full of hot, sweaty gay men. For some reason, and i honestly can not explain to you why or how this happens, but i am always to first on the floor, and i always end up dancing on the stage. i don't understand... ! not that i'm complaining - how can one possibly ever complain about something like that ?!
I just feel so great afterwards... I could have stayed there for hours longer, honestly. But we left, and got big slices of thick, cheesey pizzas, and went home. There we watched the hilarious classic, Lust in the Dust, starring Divine. This film is such a classic. And no, it is not porn !
Back to dancing, I think, like i said, i will need to go out every weekend. it's such a release from everything. The music just takes control, and you end up submitting yourself to the beats, to the melodies, to the beautiful boys dancing all around you...
beautiful boy, i surrender to you...
