Nancy Sinatra is one of my favorite singers of all time. Nancy & Lee Hazelwood were the first "couple" I remember performing alongside each other next to Sonny & Cher. He wrote so many amazing songs, and her voice was so awesome. "Some Velvet Morning..." I mean christ, how can you argue with genius shit like that?

I love the fact she's hanging with Morrissey. Jarvis Cocker and Bono, and others have written stuff for her new album (alongside Moz) and I'm still anxious to hear it.

It'd be cool if she toured...

She also is featured in the documentary "Importance of Being Morrissey" in a rather cute tea time with Moz.

...I might be out to lunch, but didn't she sing the original version of "Sand", later covered by EN? Didn't realise Jarvis and Bono were also involved in her new reocrd. I knew Moz sings backup on her version of "Let Me Kiss You"...

...I loved "The Importance Of." So much better than the shite MTV and Much Music try to pass as music bios. The bit about Moz stealing the Mael Bros' toast was brilliant.

Yes indeed. "Sand" was one of many fine Hazlewood/Sinatra joints, many of which have made fine covers. "Some Velvet Morning" has been done well a couple of times, my personal favourite being the version by Slowdive. Oh, and I added you. Bingo bango.
