Good God, this is amazing. I devoured every word (pun not intended)! The voices, the passage of time, the fear Colette feels at first moving in with Ego and the way it melts into contentment, and the way that shift feels so natural, so real. I loved how you tied it all so beautifully into the events of the movie, and all the little Pixar and Disney references - Presto and the art-loving Pascal and the granny who my mind insists is the old woman from the beginning of the film! I am seriously blown away by this, it's absolutely stunning! ♥

The way you described the grandmother, I couldn't help but picture the woman from the beginning, which just shows how damn strong your visuals are - all the references were wonderful, as was the whole fic! Can't praise it enough! ♥

That was so lovely! All the hints of a larger life behind and around the story; a father who can't deal with children but still bolsters her in subtle ways; and my favourite parts were Colette's reactions during the moments Anton appears in canon, wanting to make the story about her and her father again but not quite daring to. Headcanon now!

Thank you so much! I was most worried about the canon scenes since Colette kind of becomes a background character when it's about Linguini and Ego. Which is a shame considering her character. But yay for making headcanon! Thank you again!
