2007, Part 4 of 365

Jan 04, 2007 23:34

So today was productive, mostly. I went to my Gastro lady to get bloodwork done...standard procedure every couple of years. Then I went to the mall to get the wire for my iPod, so that possibly tomorrow, I can pick up my iPod from my room, plug it in, and have music again! Very exciting. Then I came home and had lunch (fried rice, which made my mom angry 'cause she wanted it. Not really angry, but petty, for fun angry).

Then I got the easy half of the inventory done at Brundage. For those of you who have ever tried to work at BPP while Vivian's there, you know how she likes to talk. And none of that talk was wasted time, it just...took some time. So I'm going back next week to finish it. Then I went and got my glasses! (Yay I can see again!) Then I went and got drinks for the Children's Choir Party from Acme and got my mom Starbucks because she was having a bad day. And then, and then, and then...God am I a bad storyteller today.

Then, after a quick dinner, I went to church for practices. Kid's Choir was just a party, so it was very easy. Adult choir went well - I was sorely disappointed at the attendance as of 7:40, but by 8:00, we had a decent number so I didn't feel like that time was wasted. We worked on the new psalm for next weekend, which everybody liked (which is good), and then the Ave Verum Corpus for Holy Thursday and Psalm 23 for as often as I can use it. It went well, and although my conducting still needs work, my direction itself seems to be working well.
