It would have to be TODAY, wouldn't it? Blood drive. I've been really wanting to donate ALL FUCKING YEAR, but I haven't been able to because of low iron. I'd go and see what my iron is today, for future reference, except I have to catch a bus virtually LIKERIGHTNOW...and there's no way in hell, if by some miracle, it is high enough and I can donate, that I could donate and make it to the bus in time. ANGER. Why can't you let me know about these things beforehand? I'd have eaten 10 pounds of liver and steak and shellfish and broccoli and all the other good high-iron foods if only I'd known. RAR.
