Well, it depends on whether you are in love or not. Now I shall not even attempt to define love here. Cos I seriously have no idea whether my friend has been blinded and deafened by love or just plain crazy.
Her boyfriend must be one of the most possessive and violent guys in the whole wide world. Well, at least he must be in the small world that she entraps herself in. Ever since she got attached about 2 to 3 years ago, I have only seen her 3 times and that was during her 3 break ups with him. He doesn't allow her to speak to other guys much less go out with them. Being one of her ex-close friends, I could only talk to her on the phone secretly and everytime the topic would be the same - how he mistreats her, how life sucks etc. And everytime my advice would be the same too - why are you still with him? For goodness sake, stop ruining your life! Then she will start defending him and the conversation will always end with her hurt and me confused.
The worst part is that he hits her. Yes you heard that right! He hits her! I firmly believes that a guy should never hit a girl so I am outraged at his violence towards my friend. But what does my friend do? She breaks up with him and then she goes back to him again when he sweet talks her. Argh! When will she ever wake up?
I got a rude shock today when I called her and realised that she was back together with him again. I just told her, "You know what? I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say at all" and we hung up. It is a rude shock because I thought they have actually broken up for real. He actually caused her to attempt suicide some time ago and I'm so worried that she will do some stupid thing again. I was so relieved to hear that they had broken up for good a few months ago but now they are back together?
Is it just me or are girls just plain crazy?
