so chinese new year is kinda gone
it's a really weird one this year
probably because i had my reunion dinner on sat (the actual one is supposed to be on sun)
and it seemed forever the real cny came.
and then on sunday, it seemed so surreal that it's gonna be cny when the clock strikes 12.
i am good this year because i did some of the spring cleaning
initially i wanted to sweep the room floor but i've decided to expand the sweeping area into the living room.
after sweeping, i've decided to try out the new mop which my mom bought
so i mopped the floor as well
i've got blisters on my hand and i almost couldnt feel anything because they were so rough
this is it. sweeping and mopping has become a ONCE-in-a-LIFETIME thing.
went to ML's house at the end of the day and saw her neighbour's pad.
it's so freaking gorgeous
and i doubt i'll ever ever ever have a chance to own something like that
or even step on it
i think life sucks when you belong to the middle class
my dad's brothers came to visit on the 2nd day of cny.
and i thought i just saw them yesterday at aunt emy's place.
whatever it is, the first thought was,
I NEED TO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE.
after dilly dallying, they came even before i could wash up
went to S's place for handicap mahjung
it was sucky because we didnt know how to count correctly
and there were some rules which i'm sure we missed out
like... we can only take the end tiles, not the middle ones to win
(if you know what i'm saying)
and when they say ban4 qing1 yi1 se4
you don't really need to have 6 big tiles and 6 normal tiles right?
whatever it is, we made up our own rules
and i lost S$14
but it's ok because i get to eat free kfc meal
i'm ok with losing money because it's not like my life depends on that few bucks
i dont like it when people squabble over games
and i think it reflects very badly on oneself
i want to learn to play real mahjung
because i can see myself doing that everyday
i've gotten my bonus and i just feel like blowing it ALL away
there are so much i need to do. like proper eyelids, YSL muse, air tickets to NY etc etc
my post is so boring and i've gotta applaud you for reading to the end.
yeah, and work starts on thursday.
