Synopsis: “Do you like bubbles, Toshi?” The little boy nodded and pulled his hands apart to clap, sending bubbles flying. “Maybe some day I’ll show you how to blow bubbles with your hands.” The blonde beamed and instructed Toshi to wash his hands off. Once done, Toshi was standing and Uruha was drying his hands with a towel. Motherly; that’s what Uruha was. It made so much sense! He was pretty and cute like a girl, and he was really nice. Uruha was like a mommy. He could be Toshi’s mommy, since he didn’t really have one.
“Pi pi pi pi Pizza-la-kun to to to to toppings~” Toshi giggled and clapped his hands together as the cartoon pizza on the screen sang. It was early, and Aoi hadn’t gotten out of bed yet since he didn’t have to go to work. During the last few days, Aoi had been hard at work to finish recording, so now that he finally had a break, he was going to sleep as long as he wanted. Toshi would be alright; the little boy’s food was kept in the bottom cabinet, and there were boxes of juice on the bottom shelf in the refrigerator.
The little boy was extremely bored despite his giggles; he wanted to play with someone, or at least just have someone to sit with him. But Aoi was too tired, and the countless toys littering Toshi’s bedroom weren’t very much fun. He had already played with his Gundams, and it wasn’t fun to play with them by himself; he had already pounced on all his stuffed animals and played cops and robbers, although his stuffed alpaca didn’t appreciate the ten years of jail time he was sentenced to.
Toshi crawled across the floor and down the hallway toward Aoi’s room. It was time to play sneaky because there was only one way for him to amuse himself, and in order to do that, he had to enter his brother’s forbidden bedroom. Toshi wasn’t allowed in there unless he had a nightmare and couldn’t sleep by himself. Aoi always said something about liking his privacy and the cleanliness of his bedroom; he didn’t want one thing out of place.
Aoi was lying under his blankets, sleeping soundly with an arm hanging over the side of the bed. It would be a good couple of hours before the man would get up, so it didn’t matter what Toshi did, right? The little boy giggled to himself and crawled over to the table beside the bed. That was where Aoi kept his cell phone, and that was the one thing Toshi needed to have fun.
He reached up and let his tiny hand feel around on the table while he kept his eyes on the form under the blankets. If Aoi woke up and saw Toshi with his phone, he would throw a fit. He really didn’t want to deal with an overly grumpy older brother. He hated when Aoi was grumpy because he never got to do anything, and Aoi sat on the couch all day grumbling about how this or that was making him mad. It was just easier to stay away from him when he was like that.
Toshi covered his mouth to muffle his squeal of excitement as his fingers curled around Aoi’s phone. There were so many things he could do with a cell phone, and so many people he could call! But the problem was, Toshi didn’t really know how to use a phone. Aoi was always sitting around pressing buttons, and all the other guys did the same thing, so did that mean he just had to push a bunch of buttons? With one last look at his sleeping brother, Toshi tip-toed out of the room and ran into his own.
The first button he pushed led him to a list of names, and if Toshi could read, he would have known it was the contact list and not a game of some sort. When he selected a name, a picture popped up. There was a picture of almost everyone the two of them saw on a daily basis, even Reita, except he didn’t have his nosedress in the picture. Toshi jumped up and down and squealed. Now he just had to figure out how to make it so he could talk to Reita. That was the hard part. He pushed every button he could, but most of them only made numbers appear on the screen, so he decided to push another button, which to his surprise, made all the numbers go away… but then he had to find Reita’s picture again.
A pout formed on his lips when he couldn’t figure it out, so he did the only thing that made sense to him: he pushed all the buttons in random a random order and held it up to his ear when he heard a small ringing noise. He giggled, yet he had no idea who he was calling. It could probably be someone he had never spoken to before, but since they weren’t talking in person, it was okay because he could just hang up.
“Moshi moshi…” A tired voice muttered and Toshi covered his mouth and giggled. He knew that voice, but it wasn’t Reita’s. “Are you going to say anything?” Toshi tilted his head from side to side as a smile broke out across his features.
“Hi Mommy! You’s sleepy?” He bit his lip and smiled cutely even though Uruha wouldn’t be able to see it, but that didn’t matter. Maybe Uruha would come over and play with him so he didn’t have to be bored anymore. He would be more fun than Aoi anyways since Aoi would just watch TV, play guitar, or play some videogame that he wouldn’t let Toshi watch anyways because it was violent.
Uruha giggled. He was expecting Aoi since it was his phone, but he should have known better because the other guitarist never called so early on a day off. It only made sense that Toshi had somehow gotten his phone and ran off with it. That was something the little boy would have done. “Toshi, honey, did you steal Aoi’s phone?” He asked anyways even though he knew the answer. Of course he stole it; Aoi would never let a kid go near his electronics.
“Un!” Toshi hopped on his bed and curled up under the blankets where it was warm. Aoi really needed to get up and turn the furnace on because it was freezing and Toshi couldn’t reach the thermostat even if he climbed on the arm of a chair and leaned over. “He’s sleepy, and I’s bored, so I sneaked in his room, and then I tooks it!” Uruha tsked on the other end because he knew how much Aoi wouldn’t like that.
“You should probably put his phone back. He’ll get mad when he wakes up, and a grumpy Aoi-chan isn’t very nice.” The chances of Toshi actually listening were very unlikely; children didn’t listen if they just found something new to play with. Toshi would probably get caught with the phone and get in trouble, but not if Uruha made sure the phone was put back. “I’m going to come over to bother your brother and play with you. Aoi-chan and I have stuff to talk about anyways, and now that I’m awake, I might as well come over, right?”
“Okay Mommy.” Toshi muttered with a pout. He didn’t want to put the phone back yet! He still had to call Reita and tell him to come play with him, but then again if Reita came over, that meant Ruki would come along. They were always together, and Toshi couldn’t figure out why. It was the same with his brother and Uruha; they were always together, but that was probably just because Uruha was Mommy.
“Alright, I’m going to hang up now, and you’re going to take Aoi’s phone back without waking him up. I’ll be over in fifteen minutes.” The sound of Uruha getting out of bed reached Toshi’s ears as he hesitated to answer. He didn’t know how to turn off the phone..
“Mommy~”
“Hit the button with the red letters, honey.” The blonde spoke with amusement as Toshi giggled and looked at the phone. He didn’t even say anything before he hung up, but then again, he was just listening to what Uruha told him to do; hopefully he would listen to the rest of what he was told.
Surprisingly, Toshi did do as he was told. He crawled back into Aoi’s room --because he was still being sneaky-- and put the phone back on his nightstand where he found it. Just as he was getting ready to turn toward the door, Aoi made a strange noise and turned over. The little boy held his breath as his brother shifted into a more comfortable position. He really didn’t want to get caught before Mommy showed up, and he really didn’t want to be put in time out.
As quickly as he could, he tip-toed out of the room and back to the living room where he pretended he was watching TV just in case Aoi woke up. There was nothing on television on a Sunday morning, and even the shows aimed towards someone of Toshi’s age were boring. The only entertaining thing on television were the strange commercials for pizza and gum.
Fifteen minutes passed before a very tired looking Uruha strolled through the living room. Toshi jumped up and squealed in shock. He hadn’t heard the blonde knock on the door, but even if he had, Toshi wasn’t allowed to open it. Aoi always said “Don’t open the door for anyone if I’m asleep; wake me up.” but waking up Aoi could be scary. The blonde plopped down on the couch and ruffled the little boy’s hair. It was still too early to play anything, but if he didn’t entertain the little boy now, he might fall asleep and Toshi would run wild and get into Aoi’s things again.
“Alright, Toshi, what do you want to play?” Uruha finally asked and pulled the little boy onto his lap. Toshi put a finger on his lips and tilted his head from side to side as he thought. Now that Mommy was there, there were so many things they could do, well not really since most of his toys made some sort of strange noise that was really loud and obnoxious. That put a damper on his thoughts because that meant he couldn’t play with his cool new remote control fire truck.
“We’s play bideogames!” He nodded and pointed to the entertainment system. Aoi usually unhooked the game consoles when they weren’t being used because he didn’t want to run up the electric bill, so Uruha had to hook it all up, which he already knew he had to. Uruha had known the other guitarist long enough to how he ran his household.
“How about you pick out a game while I hook everything up, hmm?” The blonde slid off the couch with Toshi still on his lap. The games were located in the bottom cabinet of the entertainment system. The upper shelf held Aoi’s games, which were usually violent or just plain inappropriate, and the lower shelf held Toshi’s games, all of which were cutesy and bubbly.
Picking a game should never be as hard as Toshi made it. Before Uruha could even think, Toshi had placed all his games on the floor side by side. “Bubble gum, bubble gum, in a dish, how many pieces do you wish?” The little boy pointed at a game with every word. Uruha smiled to himself as he looked at all the game consoles.
“Sweetie, how is the game supposed to tell you a number?” He turned around and raised a questioning eyebrow and giggled when Toshi puffed out his cheeks and crossed his arms over his chest.
“Mommy~!” The little boy pouted.
“I’m sorry, honey, but games can’t talk. You’d have to do something else to choose-” Uruha stopped and stared at the game console sitting between the play station and Xbox. The thing was so old, but not entirely old. “NO WAY! You guys have a Sega Dreamcast?! Toshi, lets play Sega! Can we play with the Sega?!” He bounced up and down on his knees and clapped his hands childishly. It had been so long since he last played with a Sega, and Aoi had one the entire time?! He stared down at the little boy who was looking back at him as if he were crazy. “NO WAY! You have ChuChu Rocket?!” Uruha suddenly squealed as he looked in the cabinet. “I haven’t played that in forever. Y’know, it’s actually a pretty lame game, but oh my god, Toshi, lets play it!” He didn’t even let the little boy answer before he was hooking up the console and putting in the game.
Twenty minutes passed and Uruha was lying on his stomach on the floor playing ChuChu Rocket. Toshi was sitting on his back and playing with the man’s hair. He was pretending he was a beautician and Uruha had come into his salon for a new look. He was twirling Uruha’s hair around his fingers to make small curls and waves. Playing with the blonde’s soft hair was boring though.
“Mommy, I’s play too?” Toshi leaned over to look at Uruha’s face. The blonde smiled and giggled. He passed the controller to the little boy --who settled it on Uruha’s head-- and watched him play.
“Cat Mania!“ The voice on the screen somewhat squeaked. Toshi giggled and bounced up and down on Uruha’s back. The man bit his lip and scrunched up his face; Toshi was small, but he was a bit over-excited and his bouncing really hurt. “Mouse Mania!“
“I thought I heard ChuChu Rocket.” Aoi walked into the room, rubbing his eyes. He plopped down next to Uruha and smirked. He wasn’t stupid, he knew how Uruha had gotten there. The fact that Uruha was his last call when he had last called Kai meant Toshi must have called him. Oh well, he’d let it go this time since it wasn’t that big of a deal. He had only called Uruha; if he had called anyone else it would have been a problem.
Uruha shrugged and propped his head up on his hands. Was the television really that loud? “You’re a jerk. You never told me you had a Sega Dreamcast.” He turned toward his lover and pouted cutely. Aoi rolled his eyes and looked up at his brother who was too interested in the game to even begin caring about what his brother was doing.
“You never asked me if I had one.” Aoi pointed out with a yawn. It wasn’t like his Sega Dreamcast and other game consoles weren’t in plain sight. Anyone who walked into his house and actually looked would have noticed it, so it was totally Uruha’s fault for not seeing it in the first place. “But once Toshi’s done with this level, I challenge you. I bet you won’t be able to beat me. No one ever beats me.”
“You’re on.”
---
“SPAGHETTI!” Toshi squealed from his place on top of the kitchen counter. Aoi and Uruha were moving around the kitchen; Aoi was getting out the food, and Uruha was filling a pot with water. The day had gone by quickly, although none of them really noticed since they were too busy playing that damn video game. Aoi was right about never getting beat, but that didn’t stop Uruha and Toshi from at least trying. In the end it was pointless because the older man won every round, even when he wasn’t trying.
Aoi sat the box of spaghetti noodles and jar of sauce on the counter next to Toshi and ruffled the kid’s hair. “You’re just like Reita.” He pointed out with a smirk; Reita loved spaghetti for some strange reason. It seemed like the bassist was always eating it, and Aoi found himself making spaghetti at least four times a week because Toshi usually wouldn’t eat anything else without complaint.
“We’s meant to be.” Toshi nodded his head matter-of-factly. It was no secret that Toshi was totally in love with the bassist. Everyone seemed to know it, even Reita, although he tried to pretend he was oblivious. Aoi wasn’t quite sure what his brother found so great about the blonde, but it wasn’t his business either.
Uruha chuckled to himself and turned on the stove to begin boiling the water. He placed his hands on Toshi’s little knees and tapped him on the nose. “Is that so? And what do you plan to do with Ruki?” He asked with a raised eyebrow. Although everyone tried not to let Toshi know they were gay, he knew anyways. It was obvious when Ruki wouldn’t stop molesting Reita in front of the little boy. Aoi always said Ruki had a problem with touching people in places, and that was why he would end up in jail one day, but Toshi wasn’t stupid. He knew Ruki was dating his Reita, and he promised himself that one day he would make sure something bad happened to that midget.
“KILL HIM!” Toshi squealed with his hands clenched into a fist. Oh, how he hated the vocalist. He was always so rude, and he could be really mean when he wanted to be. There were only a few times they actually got along, and that was only when Ruki’s mother decided to visit, which everyone thought was strange since he was disowned. Ruki had put on a smile and pretended he was ecstatic to see his mother, and he even decided to play with Toshi so he didn’t have to talk to the woman.
“No you won’t.” Aoi rolled his eyes and went to the refrigerator to grab a two liter bottle of soda. Toshi was always going on about how he wanted to do this or that to poor little Ruki, but the likely hood of him actually doing anything was extremely slim. He was too afraid of the police on the TV to do anything bad.
Toshi nodded with wide eyes, “Uh huhs! Ruru’s a bad~ boy. He’s be meanies to ReiRei!” Because touching Reita when he didn’t want to be touched was considered mean, supposedly. Reita was always trying to pry the vocalist’s hands off him during work, but that usually resulted in a very angry little midget.
“He’s not mean to Reita.” Uruha smirked. He had known Ruki and Reita for years, so he knew exactly what the vocalist was really like. Sure Ruki acted all mean in front of everyone at work, but that was only because he was trying to make up for (as Uruha and Reita teased) his lack of height. As Reita once said, no one would take Ruki seriously if they just looked at how tall he was. If anything, they were more than likely to put him in their purse and walk away if they were a girl, and if they were a man, they’d probably just pat him on the head and call him a kid. “Ruki’s actually really nice outside of work. He even took me out on my birthday to buy me a new guitar. He said I deserved it since I haven’t killed your brother yet.” He giggled when Aoi pouted.
“Because you haven’t killed me yet? What in the hell does that mean?” Aoi crossed his arms across his chest and continued to pout. He didn’t think he really did anything wrong; most of the time he kept to himself unless he had to tend to Toshi. There was nothing wrong with anything he did.
Toshi bounced up and down and giggled, “You’s has a temperature!” He clapped his hands.
“Temper, sweetie.” Uruha corrected and moved over to the stove to begin cooking. “But he’s right, Yuu. You do have a bad temper, and Ruki has it in his head that I’ll kill you one of these days. I guess he doesn’t realize that things between you and me and things between you and the band are completely different. While you have a bad temper at work, you’re perfectly fine at home. I can deal with you, and if I can’t, I know how to put you in your place.” He looked over his shoulder at the other man who was still pouting. Uruha rolled his eyes and began putting the spaghetti into the pot. “Of course, your temper isn’t bad all the time. Sometimes it’s needed in order to make the others get to work. I mean, even Kai slacks off sometimes without realizing it. If we didn’t have you yelling at us all the time, we wouldn’t be where we are. I’d like to think you and Kai work hand in hand.”
“They hold hands~?” Toshi looked at his brother with raised eyebrows. He always thought Aoi liked Uruha, not Kai.
“No, we don’t hold hands.” Aoi grinned and reached over Toshi to open the cabinets to retrieve three glasses. “Holding hands with a boy is gross.” He stuck out his tongue as Uruha rolled his eyes again.
“Not uhs! You hold Mommy’s hand all the time!” Toshi leaned forward with the most serious face he could make. He had a feeling there was something between the two of them, even though the two really tried to hide it. They didn’t want Toshi to think anything weird about them. He knew they liked each other though. It was a bit too obvious since Uruha would come over at strange hours of the night, and sometimes they would make the strangest of noises while he was trying to sleep.
Uruha chuckled nervously and pretended he was hard at work on cooking those noodles, which didn’t take any effort whatsoever.
“Of course we do…” Aoi looked at his lover for help but quickly realized he was on his own. Of course Uruha would pretend he was doing something when he needed help with this. “Mommy’s hands are always cold, so I just like to make sure they’re warm. Y’know, if I didn’t, his hands would fall off, and then he’d never be able to play guitar again! Mommy would be sad if he couldn’t play guitar, and he couldn’t be in the band anymore. That would make him really REALLY sad.” He nodded, and Toshi pursed his lips as if he were trying to figure out if any of that could actually happen.
Toshi shook his head and held out his arms so his brother could pick him up. “Not uhs!” He pointed to the ground, and Aoi sat him down. He tilted his head to the side and bounced on the heels of his feet. He could tell just from the way Uruha suddenly became quiet that something was up between them. “YOU LOVE MOMMY!” He squealed and ran out of the room with a giggle.
“People tend to love their best friends!” Aoi stuck out his tongue at his brother who decided it would be a good idea to hide in his room until dinner was done. “We’re a bit obvious, aren’t we?” He took Toshi’s previous place on the counter and leaned back against the cabinet. Uruha turned to look at him with a smirk. Obvious was an understatement. They just screamed ‘we’re totally dating’, so the blonde wasn’t surprised that Toshi knew what was going on between them.
Truth be told, they were more obvious than Reita and Ruki. While Reita was always trying to keep Ruki from touching him, Uruha and Aoi were always doing things when Toshi wasn’t looking. From the beginning, Aoi said they didn’t need to hide their relationship. Toshi was just a baby, so if he grew up seeing them together, he would just think it was normal. Uruha, however, said that was a stupid idea because he would go to school one day and hear someone say it was bad for two guys to be together. In the end, they decided to just hide their relationship so he didn’t ask questions.
Uruha shrugged and moved to stand between Aoi’s legs. “I think we could be a little less obvious, but now he knows. We only have two options: we either tell him we’re together, or we continue to make up lies. I still don’t think he’s old enough to know about us, but he already knows about Reita and Ruki. As long as we have a long talk with him, it shouldn’t be a big deal. I just don't want him to start school and have people tell him how it’s bad that you’re with another man. You know how kids can be.” He wrapped his arms around Aoi’s waist and rested his forehead on his shoulder.
“And what are we supposed to tell him?” Aoi embraced his lover and bit his lip because he really didn’t know what to tell the little boy. He never really thought he needed to have a talk with him about such a thing, but it would probably be a good idea. Once he started school, he would be made fun of for having a gay brother. Of course, that sort of thing wasn’t even supposed to get out because of Aoi and Uruha’s fame.
Uruha sighed as Aoi kissed him on the cheek, “I’m not sure. We could just wing it. You seem to be good at that.” He smirked and pulled himself away from his lover so he could stir the noodles and put the sauce in a pan since he had forgotten about it. “We just need to tell him that we’re together and we have been, and that it’s okay for two men to love each other even though the rest of the world thinks it’s wrong. We also have to tell him that no one can know about us because it would be bad. Just think of all the things the media would do if they found out! I’m not ready for that just yet. Maybe when we’re both comfortable with the world know, but not right now.”
The older man smiled softly; Uruha always tended to rant when he was beginning to worry. “We don’t have to tell anyone if we don’t want to. We could keep it a secret until we die; I really don’t care to let the world into our personal lives. It’s already hard enough to hang out with you since the damn paparazzi are always around.” If they came out and admitted it, their lives would only get harder.
“We already lack privacy,” Uruha noted with a sigh, “and I’d really hate to lose my personal life for good. I’d rather not let anyone know. Well, if we’re old and not attractive anymore, then no one would care, right?” He scrunched up at his face at the mental image, “But I also don’t plan to get old and unattractive, and I hope you don’t either.”
“It’s not like we can put a stop to aging.” Aoi rolled his eyes, if they could, that would just be a miracle. He suddenly began laughing when a toy fire truck rolled into the room with a note attached to the top. Aoi looked over and noticed Toshi looking around the corner of the hallway leading back to the bedrooms with a remote control in his hand.
Uruha bent down and grabbed the note, “Mommy and Oniisan sitting in a tree, k-i-z-z-i-n-g?” He tried his best to make out the letters. Toshi hadn’t started school just yet, but Aoi had taught him how to spell some things, and they were still working on his handwriting. He looked at the older man and giggled. The remote control fire truck turned around and left the room.
“It’s k-i-s-s-i-n-g!” Aoi pointed at his brother who ran away as quickly as he could. The sound of the bedroom door slamming caused Aoi to shake his head and hop off the counter. “I guess we have no choice but to talk to him, but I’m starting to think I should send him to school. I’m really not a good teacher, it seems.”
---
“If you’s my mommy, does that mean you’s Oniisan’s mommy too?” Toshi spoke through a mouth full of spaghetti. “If you’s marry Oniisan, does that mean you’s be my mommy and my broder-in-law?”
Uruha bit his lip and stared at the little boy who hadn’t stopped asking questions since he got to the table. “If you’s my mommy, then does that mean Oniisan is my daddy?” Toshi’s eyes grew wide as he looked at his brother. Ew~ that was gross.
“No!” Aoi leaned forward and stuck his tongue out. “If you think about it, Uru isn’t really your mommy. Remember what I told you? Our mommy is a mean old lady who has a giant wart on her nose and green skin. She wears a black dress and a pointy hat, and she lives in a giant tower.” he winced and grabbed his shoulder where Uruha had punched him.
“SHIROYAMA YUU!” He snapped. “I don’t care how mean your mother may have been; you don’t make her out to be a witch. Whether you like it or not, you’re going to respect your mother.” He pointed his finger in his lover’s face. All mothers were supposed to be respected, even the mean ones who didn’t want their kids.
Aoi pouted and ate his food while Toshi giggled. “And Mommy-Uru is nice and pretties with pretties skin. He wears shorties and lives in a partment!” He kicked his little feet happily as Uruha blushed.
“I wear more than just shorts.” He reached across the table to pat the little boy on the head. “I wear lots of things. Right now I’m wearing pants and my favorite shirt that Reita bought for me in high school.” He looked down at the worn out sex MACHINEGUNS band shirt. It was the shirt Reita had bought at the live. The live was part one to Uruha’s birthday present, and the shirt was part two. Part three was the mass amount of alcohol they consumed later that night.
“ReiRei?” Toshi’s eyes lit up.
“Mmhm. Reita likes to spoil me. Just yesterday he took me out for dinner. He said it was for helping him when Ruki was being obnoxious. All I did was let him stay at my apartment for the night.” The blonde shrugged.
“Oniisan, I finks ReiRei should move in.” Toshi put down his utensils and pulled himself up so he was sitting on his knees. “I finks he needs to get ways from RuRu.” He nodded and started eating with his fingers, although Aoi didn’t like it when he did that.
“No.” Aoi didn’t look up from his plate. There was no way he would ever let Reita move in with him. That would put a damper on his and Uruha’s fun. “I’d rather let Uruha move in. At least then I wouldn’t be annoyed all the time.”
“Yeah!” Toshi squealed loudly. “Mommy, you’s move in?” He bit his lip cutely and looked at the guitarist.
Uruha punched Aoi again, “Honey, I can’t move in. What would happen if Reita needed to get away from that evil troll? He wouldn’t have anywhere to go, and there wouldn’t be room here. I have to save Reita, so I can’t.” Toshi scrunched up his face, but didn’t say anything else. Uruha had a point.
The blonde leaned over to Aoi, “He’s going to be bothering you for days now.” He leaned back and raised an eyebrow because the little boy was already listing all the things they could do if Mommy moved in with them. Uruha sighed and ate while the little boy ranted. He wouldn’t mind moving in, to tell the truth, but he just didn’t think it was such a good idea. At least not right now.
Uruha actually liked living alone, even if it did have flaws. He couldn’t spend all his time with Aoi, but then again, he wouldn’t want to spend all his time with his lover. Sometimes they needed time apart, and that was one of the reasons they decided to not live together three years ago. They knew they would eventually decide to live under the same roof, but now wasn’t the time.
“Mommy could read to me!” Toshi held up a fourth finger as he kept count of all the things they could do if Uruha moved it. “He… could… make a milkieshake for me~”
“He’s your mommy, not your maid.” Aoi took a drink of soda. Uruha was right; Toshi would be bothering him for days.
---
“Toshi~!” Aoi ran around the house with a towel in hand while he chased his naked little brother. Why did bath time always have to be so difficult? It was even more difficult now that Toshi was trying his best to make Uruha laugh. The little boy giggled loudly and flailed his arms around in the air.
The bath was going fine until Aoi turned his back to get a towel, and Toshi jumped out of the tub and decided he wanted to run around the house. Uruha covered his mouth and laughed softly to himself. Watching Aoi try to make him mind was somehow cute. Actually, watching Aoi take care of a kid was always cute.
When Toshi was left with Aoi, Uruha always watched and tried his best to help. The older man didn’t know what he was doing in the beginning, and watching him struggle and mold himself into the perfect father-like figure was adorable. He looked up to the older man. Having a nephew he spent a lot of time, Uruha would ask his lover for help from time to time. Aoi had matured a lot over the two years he spent taking care of his brother.
Toshi ran through the living room and jumped on the couch and began jumping up and down. Aoi was standing in the dining room with his hands on his knees. They had already circled through the whole house three times, yet he still failed to catch the little boy. “TOSHI!” He yelled as he tried to catch his breath. He hated it when people jumped on the couch, and Toshi knew that.
“Oh, don’t yell at him. He’s just a kid.” Uruha took the towel and approached the little boy with a smile. He grabbed both ends of the material and held it out in front of him, “Come on Toshi~” He tilted his head to the side as the little boy jumped into his arms with a squeal.
The older man’s jaw dropped as Uruha carried the little boy to his bedroom. “How did you do that?!” He trailed behind the blonde.
“I’m Mommy; of course he’s going to listen to me.” Uruha shrugged and helped the little boy put his nightclothes on. Toshi stood in front of him with his arms raised as the blonde pulled a penguin shirt over his head. “Isn’t that right, sweetie?”
“Un!” Toshi nodded and held his arms out for Uruha to carry him. He wasn’t going to bed just yet, even if his brother wanted him to. It was only nine o’clock. “Mommy, we’s watch movies?”
Aoi slammed his head against the wall and squeaked. With Uruha around, there was no way Toshi would go to sleep. Ever.
A/N: Thank you for all the comments on the first chapter, guys. Although I'm not satisfied with this chapter, I hope you guys will like it. Should I bring in Doki soon? :3
The pizza commercial Toshi was watching at the beginning can be found
here. I warn you, it will get stuck in your head, but it's so cute~ :3
If you don't know what ChuChu Rocket! is, then you can watch someone's gameplay
here. The game is pretty cute, although I've never played it.
Anyhow, please leave your comments~
