Finally managed to change my LJ layout (:
Cos previously, I thought CSS was a complicated code system and furthermore, everytime I try to change my layout, I keep messing up the layout.
Then just now, I found out why I messed up. It was the choice of Flexible Squares layout and ad placement that affected the look of the layout.
See, there different Flexible Squares layouts to choose from in 'Select Journal Style' page, and in particular, Circular and Circular Brown don't work so well for custom CSS layouts cos' its stripes at the top part will appear together with the custom layout once you pasted the codes into the custom CSS layout box in Customise your journal section. So I chose Icy Blue instead. And it worked.
Also, when the custom layout requires you to place ads in between entries (below the choose layout part), you'd better do it cos' if not, your layout will become messed up again.
So yeah, I like my new layout now cos it's so... Nutella and Crackers XD
