The neighborhood was abosultely apalling. Babies cried constantly, the brick buildings seemed to be painted in slum, and it seemed on every corner of every street there were harlots with their pimps. None of this mattered, though, since she was only on her way through. Though, it took most of her will not to wonder why he always picked the most gruesome places for a headquarters. Lynn wanted to gag from its smell; a vile mixture of trash and gasoline rotting in a larva-infested carcass. 'Probably 'cause here no one will spill to police,' she though with dismay. Lynn liked killing in quiet suburbias, for it always gave her a rush. The dull rush, now, though. Now, there was no spark to slaughter and mayhem. It was a chore, a job, not a hobby. SHe needed something more from it. Some awesome spark and gleam of the treasure after you slay the dragon! Its hoard for the victory! Lynn needed more blood.
With that thought in mind, Lynn began to get giddy. She walked a bit faster, taking out her cell phone and checking the text message to make sure she was going the right way. Finally, an abandoned warehouse came into view. 'Oh, c'mon Tanaquil, you could've been a bit more creative!' she though with irritation. Opening the door, Lynn stepped in hesitantly. Blue streaks of moonlight streamed through boarded windows and the dust shimmered in midair. Though it was horribly over-done and cliche of her, Lynn was wearing a black leather trench coat. For three reaons; 1) it concealed the glaive hidden beneath, 2) it was considerably cold, and 3) Lynn happened to like the fashion statement. Underneath the black leather was a cream-colored denim skirt reaching just to her knees, a fire-engine red silk shirt with a gentle-sloped V-neck. For her legs, she wore striped stockings with a dominate red color, accented by teal, white, and green under black vinyl boots. "I'm here," she called.
The door begind her opened, spraying Lynn's dirty blonde hair away. The hair was in a plait that reached the small of her back, yet the gust was strong enough to shove the strong hair over her shoulder. "I'm glad," replied a cold voice. Out stepped a man of ivory skin, tinted in the moonlight to glow. His hair was black, with the glossy tints of green and blue as a raven's wing would be. Dark hazel eyes peered from his mop of hair, the two dark features making his skin all the more dazzling. His hands crept from the dark blue jeans, their whiteness holding a piece of paper paled by comparison. "Take it," Tanaquild whispered, perfect white teeth showing. Lynn's eyes traveled to his long-sleeved black shirt, a dark gray design on it that she couldn't see. "Take it," he said more urgently. Lynn stepped forward, holding out her gloved hand. The extange between nervous murderer and hostile host was awkward, with the girl quickly bringing her hand back as if a snake bit her. Tanaquil smiled his courtly smile, filled with emptiness and hidden knowledge. Lynn opened the paper, reading the address she was to kill at next.
"C-could.. I have her back?" she whispered. Tanaquil laughed in responce, which was a definite no to Lynn. "I want to see her!" Lynn said with strength this time, as if demanding her master. He laughed again, and told Lynn she could if she finished swiftly enough. Hesitantly, Lynn stepped back, half of her wanting to flee and the other half just wanting her partner. Sero... she wanted her back. "You sick, twisted motherfucker," Lynn hissed, then turned on her heels and stormed out. Behind her, the goddamned monster laughed.
-----------2 Hours Later-----------
Lynn stood before a scene of pure beauty. It was the time of morning when the sky wasn't sure what colors to be. It was decided on the shade of azure to be, or maybe a dark gray. The sun slowly rose, sending shades of pale pink over the valley. The giant ball of fire turned the gray foliage green, the white bark brown, and turned a girl hung from the tree a lifeless red and pink. Lynn had her back to the tree, glaive resting like a staff beside her. The whole thing was showered in crimson blood, and the sad faceless girl behind her just the same. Her corpse was hung be the feet, the skin of her face ripped off and the bones shattered. Her torso was sliced in half, intestines draped around her like part decorations. The blood was still trickling out, though her heart had stopped. In fact, it wasn't only still, it was shoved up her ass. Lynn took in the scene before her, of gentle deer beginning their grazing of dewy grass and the sun ripping the colorless sky in pinks and oranges.
Lynn slowly turned to regard the corpse, then took out a spray bottle. She shook it, then covered the whole body with the chemical so labs couldn't DNA test it. She covered herself with it, feeling the chemicals burn into her skin and begin to eat at it. Without worry, she dropped to the ground and rolled down the hill to stop it from eating her. The dew didn't wash off the spray, only took some of it off. Lynn took another bottle from her other pocket, spraying the glaive and the areas also puddled in blood. "Until blood rain down from the Heavens, I shall not take the poor, the rich, or the distraught. For Thee, I shall only take the corrupt. Ahem," Lynn said, with enough volume to startle a robin from its nest in the tree. Then, Lynn turned to gaze at the forest a couple feet from her chosen blood-scene. "Come out, come out, little piggy. The Big Bad Wolf knows you're in there."
