I suppose there should be some clarification about my last post. I said that "I failed [the comp]." I do not know this for sure. There is an outside chance that I did pass it. However, the chance is slim to none. I know that I did some things wrong and some things were fuzzy at best and for one question I put nothing down. No one else that I talked to wrote anything down for that question either, so if there is a curve, then maybe. I will officially find out the results after Spring Break, so there is nothing I can do about it now.
So, having spent the last 2 weeks studying for my comp, I decided to cut lose a little. I partied with the econ folks at Tiger Town Tavern immeadiately following the test. Several of them were sloppy drunk, and the ones that weren't were being hit on by the professors. Then I went out with the good people of MTS and got even drunker at Nick's. That was fun. I remember having a real good time chugging Bud Light with Brandon and Cheryl. After we got kicked out of there, it was off to Huddle House and then to Brandon's for a little game of Thruth and Lies.
Seven hours later I went to see my family. They were really nice and bought me food and we watched Sky High, which was surprisingly good. I would have loved it if it actually explored all the dark things that it hinted at, but you can't expect it all. Also, my mom got the Best of Hitchcock Collection. Its like 16 of his best movies. I'm totally stealing it.
After time with the folks, I went back to Clemson for the Players Dance. That's the Clemson Players Acting Club, not, you know Playas. Not to say that some of them aren't Playas. The Dance was so much fun. I didn't intend to get drunk, but then I decided that I should otherwise I would be trapped on the outside of the circle not dancing. Then it was off to Emily's for a little game that middle schoolers like to call, "spin the bottle." Oh yes, we played spin the bottle and a good time was had by all.
So that was my weekend pretty much. Now, I have to get stuff prepared for the classes that I teach tomorrow.
