This weekend Reena went with some of her friends to Chicago. Since I was stranded in Michigan, I decided to travl to Ann Arbor and spend time with family and friends. I met up with the Milas who were in town for the weekend, and ate at a restaurant managed by Jeff French who I have not seen since 8th grade. The restaurant was Casey's and if you go (it's in Depot Town, try the fried cookie dough! It is very, very good. I saw Brian Burstein's condo in Milan, which he's had for a while, but I had never been able to make it out to before. I also spent some time with my family in Ann Arbor. I saw my niece who continues to have her hair become more and more curly, and she now say both sylables of my name :) I was quite impressed. I also saw Jenny swim for Huron Valley Swim Team. She was great, and I hope her team won...I had to leave early :)
In sporting news, the Lions signed Jeff Backus to a $40 million dollar six year deal. He has become the sixth highest paid lineman in the NFL and the highest to have never made a probowl. I like Backus, since he's a Michigan man, so I'll merely say that I hope this is a good signing for the Lions...
