Good News and Great News
The good news is that yesterday I got to go to Cedar Point. I hadn't been in ages, so it was exciting to try the new rides. One of the new ones was the Wicked Twister. This ride was pretty fun. It was like the old pirate ship ride, except much faster and when you went up each end the ride would twist. The other new ride I hadn't been on was the Dragster. We waited an hour for this one (longest line of the day), and it was probably the shortest ride we were on. You strap in and get rocketed out of the gates at 120mph, go up 420ft and gravity takes you down the other side of the 420ft loop. Coming down on that ride was great, but I didn't like the initial pull of going from 0-120mph in less than a second. All in all though, the trip was great! No place has better roller coasters than Cedar Point.
The great news is . . . I got a job!!!
That's right, after searching and searching I finally found a group of lawyers smart enough and talented enough to recognize my talent :) The firm is Deneweth Dugan and Parfitt. My firm specializes in construction law, and also does some business law, real estate work and surety law. The firm is in Troy, so Reena and I will be looking for a home/apartment in the area. the location is also great because there are lots of schools in the area for Reena to teach at and these schools tend to offer some of the better paying jobs in the state.
