Hello, and Merry Christmas.
Does it feel like Christmas to you? For some reason, I cannot get into the Christmas spirit. It may be the whole sick thing, but it just does not feel like Christmas. Bah, humbug. I guess my problem is that everyone I know was working, or at school, and now they are free, but I have been at home, sleeping for the past few months. The tree is up, the house decorated, the gifts bought, but the feeling is not there. I know that is not what Christmas is about, but I cannot help but feel that these are the things I should be happy about.
As a kid, I loved Christmas. I got to see my family, eat lots of food, give and receive gifts. It was amazing. Now, Christmas is with my family and friends, but since my parents and I are on such bad terms, it will be very cold. We are having the usual traditions, but it will not be the same. What is Christmas without family and love?
Anyways, I will be gone for the next little while, so here is my early Christmas post. I hope you all have a wonderful time during the Holidays, and get everything you wished for, whether it is a gift or something else. I hope you spend time with family and loved ones, and that you know how much you mean to those who love you. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and best of luck in 2007.
Happy Non-Denominational Holiday.
