In the words of Jonathan: "Jesus is my doubles partner."

Wow, a lot has changed since I last updated...

I'm 20 now. I always thought it was dumb when adults asked me if I felt any older on my birthdays, but this time it actually applied. I really feel older and maybe a little wiser, too. I was dreading turning 20 because it seemed so old, but I really like this new feeling of being capable, progressive, and old enough. I feel like a lot of change is on the way and I'm ready to take-on the good and the not-so-good.

I'm going to be a prefect next year. I'm soooo excited and honored to pursue this opportunity. I really don't know what to say about the prefect selection process...as happy as I am, this ride really has had it's ups and downs for everyone involved. It's kinda bitter sweet. As for myself, I'm chomping at the bit to find out where I'll be next year and I'm already trying to think of cool themes and activities for my pod/floor. But that's a long way away.

What isn't a long way away is Mexico. I leave in less than a month and a half! Ahhhhhhhhhh! :o

As for now, I'm still working on becoming a master fencer and a swing dancer. I guess I do class-y stuff too, but that's not generally too fun. I feel like second semester has flown by, though...geeze!
I've had some pretty crazy times with some pretty crazy people. Gotta love the random visits from the Kitty (aka: Walter), late night talks with Mollie, "Cotillioning" with Ashley, getting coffee with Ginny, making fun of the homeless (aka: Tim), singing in the car with Dianna, repremanding Murr, and all the insane daily happenings that occur in these parts.
Also, three hour convos with Heidi and Jonathan on the phone help to make my life interesting! I love it!

So in conclusion, I've really been blessed with a lot of amazing people and opportunities in my life right now. I want to take advantage of every second left during this semester and start pursuing the NEXT 20 years of my life by appreciating everything I've been given.
