The reviewers of Pitchfork are apparantly a horde of bizarre coprophagic clowns. Every day they dig deep into their own feces so that they may chew, regurgitate and spit this cud that they (oh marvel!) choose to enlighten us with.

I will make the conclusion as breve as I possibly can: Making funny shapes out of shit does not, in fact, make shit

Pitchfork is horrendous, but their favourite picks are usually pretty fucking good.

I should beat my skull into the wall a few times before reading their reviews then, because their (misplaced) elitism is fairly hard to abstract from and makes it rather hard to read into what the music really is.
